Your Anthropologie Style: Eleni McMullin

January 19, 2015

The most exciting part of our online #Anthropologie gallery is seeing the endless ways you wear our pieces. It gives us a glimpse into the unique layering, accessorizing and mix-match moves you so cleverly use to make an ensemble your own, and we absolutely love it. One gal who’s especially adept at outfitting is Canadian blogger, stylist and Instagram must-follow Eleni McMullin. We’ve been eyeing her snaps for a while now, and not even the snowy Calgary winter has hampered her look. She’s still pulling it together perfectlydresses, lace, heels and all. How does she do it? We got the lowdown on her Anthro-phile style.

What does a typical day look like in your world?
It begins with coffee with my husband and our two dogs, and then either a trip to the mountains or something cozy in the city. Winter is our favorite season because my husband has a lot of time off, so when we aren’t traveling, we’re exploring new restaurants or hanging with friends and family.

When it comes to everyday style, do you have a go-to move?
Layering everything. Give me a maxi cardigan and a blanket scarf and I’m happy.‚

In your own words, tell us why you’re a tried-and-true Anthropologie fan.
Honestly, it’s because the brand feels so much like me. I love the diversity and uniqueness of the clothing. Even if someone else owns the same item, I can wear it my own way.

What Anthropologie piece are you coveting right this second?
I am head over heels for the‚ Porcelain Panel Maxi Dress. I’d love to take it on a trip or wear it on a beautiful summer day. Now the weather needs to warm up so I can add it to my wardrobe!

You’ve had so many great Instagram photos featured in our‚ online gallerywhat’s your secret?
Individuality. When you are yourself, it always shines through. I think this is most important. Once you’ve got that covered, just make sure you have clear, engaging images that people will look forward to.

Last but not least, finish the following¦
My hidden talent is I’m really good at starting IVs. I used to be a nurse, so it’s something I’m quite proud of!
My guiltiest pleasure is coffee! I’m obsessed. I’m also hooked on coconut chips and can eat an entire bag in one sitting. Oops.
Happiness is¦being surrounded by my loved ones. At the end of the day, there are only two things that really matter: how hard you love and how much you give.
